How to Help

How to Help: Volunteer

Here are just a few ways in which you can contribute your time and creativity:

Peek-A-Boo Puppet Show:
Write scripts, perform as a puppet, publicize the show, recruit puppeteers. Need to be available on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 9:30 am-10:30am.

Calendar of Activities:
Offer an activity for toddlers and their parents: crafts, movement, games, story time! Your session will be programmed into the monthly Calendar of Activities. Sessions of half an hour, 10:30 – 11:00 -plus set-up and clean-up!

Cleaning:
Lend an extra hand to keep the space tidy and the toys clean. Note that we use chemical-free cleaning products that are safe for children...and grown-ups alike!

Fundraising:
Make phone calls to sponsors, help organize fundraiser events, or work with our team to brainstorm fundraising ideas.

Pick-A-Toy Lending Program:
Organize the toy lending room, make the inventory of toys, advertise the program.

T-Ball:
Help coach the preschooler t-ball teams.

Manual skills:
Painting, sewing, basic carpentry and general repair for all kinds of little tasks.

And more:

  • Distribute Toy Library brochures around town (places you go: libraries, dentist, daycare, preschools, etc.)
  • Publicize events / set-up at events / clean-up at events / sell tickets
  • If you have further ideas or talents that you'd like to share, talk to us!

Please note: To be a volunteer with us, you will need to submit to a background check, and then you will be all set to go.

Thank You!
